What Will I Learn?

Our course of instruction consists of six steps:

• Classroom instruction

• Getting a driving permit

• Parking lot driving

• Street driving

• Highway driving

• Taking the driving test

What Does the Class Consist Of?

• 16 hours of total driver training.  10 hours will consist of classroom training on two Saturdays from 12:00 noon till 5:00 pm.
   

• 6 hours of driving will be Monday through Friday from 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm (September through May).
   

• Weekend and summer hours are from 7:00 am till 9:00 pm.
   

• Office hours are by appointment only.

Make-up times will be arranged for classroom and driving.  Students must arrange their own transportation for the two five-hour classroom sessions.  (DHS clients may receive free classroom transportation.)  Students may be picked up and/or dropped off for the three or more driving sessions.
